Copywriter

About the Role

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled copywriter to join our team at Vent App. In this role, you'll create content that matters—words that help people feel understood, supported, and less alone. You'll write blog posts about mental health, craft social media content that sparks meaningful conversations, and develop in-app messaging that guides users through their emotional journey.

What You'll Do

• Write engaging blog posts on mental health, self-care, and emotional wellness topics
• Create social media content that resonates with our community and drives engagement
• Develop in-app copy including notifications, prompts, and user guidance messages
• Craft email newsletters and communication that nurtures our user community
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent, empathetic brand voice
• Research mental health topics and stay updated on wellness trends
• Edit and proofread content to ensure quality and accuracy

What We're Looking For

• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience writing for digital platforms (blogs, social media, apps)
• Genuine interest in mental health and emotional wellness
• Ability to write with empathy, sensitivity, and authenticity
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong research skills and fact-checking abilities
• Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
• Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your work

Nice to Have

• Background in psychology, counseling, or mental health field
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking
• Previous experience writing for health/wellness brands
